Originally from small town Derry, New Hampshire, Sarah Ropple moved to Savannah, Georgia to pursue her dream of working in Film and Television. In 2020, Sarah graduated with her bachelor’s in film and Television with a minor in Sound Design from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
In her time at SCAD, Sarah was able to learn all the ins and outs of the post-production process, learning not only how to place footage on a timeline, but learning how to move people and make them feel a specific way by how you place the clips on the timelines.
Sarah is advanced in many editing software such as, Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and is certified in Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Pro X. Through these software, Sarah was able to craft intricate stories of a variety of different lengths and genre. Sarah has been lucky enough to edit content ranging from 30 second adverts, to multicamera sitcom shows to assistant editing feature length independent films, and everything in between.
Sarah loves editing in all capacities, but her true love lies in scripted comedy editing. Sarah hopes to one day be the lead editor on her own scripted comedy show.
